Am I so desperate,
As to create a fantasy,
Of some unknown teen boy's love?
I see him, I feel his eyes meet mine,
Once, twice, three times before,
This had occurred, with mysterious electricity,
This is no lie,
Is it only my imagination?
Is he really catching my glance by accident?
Surely no one, especially older than I,
Would feel an invisible connection towards me.
It's a dream,
My intellect has gone insane,
No random boy would feel something about me,
I'm not extraordinary enough,
For love at first sight,
As most would possibly call it.
If that's truly what it is,
Then it is meant to be,
I must take action,
Unless it's just my foolish thoughts.

I like this one best of your "Love of a Stranger" poems. I think you really capture the purity of teenage love. That exhilaration and self doubt. I think this is great!
Thank-you so much! I really appreciate it, and I hope you're looking forward to read more of my series. But the main story behind it is a lot different than you think. ;)
