On Your Side

Tomorrow is just another day
Another time to plan an escape
But you're just along for the ride
When you realize I've always been on your side

You're insecurities get the best of you
And you ask me what to do
But I can't live your life
And if you wanna quit thats for you to decide

You'll run away until there's nowhere left to run
And you'll give up before this war is done
And if you've made up your mind
Go run and hide

You're vain and to you everything is a game
When you're insecure you're never quite sure
of this so called way of living in the shadows
When the sirens ring in the distance tomorrow

You live for everyone else
And yet you can't define yourself
You claim to be strong
But you never saw I was on your side all along
