I love you more than I could ever say, more than words can explain
You are my other half; my better half, you make me whole
Without you I'd be lost
A fragmented soul wandering aimlessly

You're my best friend
You always have been and you always will be
We can get through anything together
Not even distance can keep us apart; it's tried and failed

I'm going to borrow words you gave me 10 years ago
"People say a picture's worth a thousand words
To describe you it would take more than a thousand"
In your case any existing words are inadequate!

You have changed me in every way
I would not be half of who I am now without you
I just can't thank you enough
"For sharing these great qualities of yours with me"

These words are simple
But don't brush them off
They are the closest this language will allow
To explain the absolute truth:

I love you!
I always have, I always will
You are mine and I am yours
For all eternity

Just as the poem itself says, "These words are simple", this poem gives that feeling that everyone can feel towards that special someone.

Thank you so much!!! This poem will always be my favorite! Monday was my 8 year anniversary with my boyfriend and this was my present to him. His present to me was that he proposed!!
