My life's a mess
I can't venture a guess
As to how things go
This way

Things are falling apart
When did this start?
How did things end up
This way

Need to regain control
Need to make her whole
Because things can't stay
This way

Questioning myself
Put these feelings on a shelf
So I can stop feeling
This way

Determination burns within
But I don't know where to begin
How can I go on
This way

She tries too hard to no avail
She's afraid that she will fail
She's lost herself and ends up
This way

If we take things one at a time
I know that in the end we'll be fine
We just have to stop being
This way
