now i know

At the beginning I thought you would be there forever
When anything went wrong you would be there

then I thought I was stupid for ever thinking you cared
I thought things had changed and it would never be how I thought

now I know that even if I lost you before
you were then when I cried

and that makes it ok
because I know you will come back if I need you

forever and for always, that's what you'd say
and know I realise you did not lie
