Three is always one too many

He and her were the truest best friends
He trusted her with his darkest secret
She would have done anything for him

He fell in love
and she was falling hard
Both of their loves ran deep to the heart

He wanted that guy more than success
She wanted that guy for he was her love
But that guy wanted her and only her

She tried to be the best friend
She did her best not to tear them apart

He was hurting on the inside and out
He knew his love would never be

The girl and guy grew into loving each other so passionately
As he and her grew further apart with each kiss that was made between his two best friends

So the girl and guy rode off in their carriage
as the he fell into a deep dark pit

Love was their deepest emotion
and they knew it all too well
But the truest love has only room for two inside one heart.
