Little Again

Give me one, so I can lie around all day long,
Give me two, so I can learn my very first song,
Give me three, where it's cute when my bottom is bare,
Give me four, when I can live my life without any care,
Give me five, and a brand spankin' new book bag,
Give me six, and a long, exciting game of tag,
Give me seven, even though girls still had cooties,
Give me eight, with some girls becoming cuties,
Give me nine, so I can listen to the latest boy band CD,
Give me ten, when I still had my grandpa to see,
Give me eleven, so I can meet some new classmates,
Give me twelve, with conditioning at practice to hate,
Give me thirteen, hanging out at football games,
Give me fourteen, some things no longer the same,
Give me fifteen, the greatest time in '100 Years',
Give me sixteen, only beginning to shift the gears,
Give me seventeen, just one more chance somehow,
Give me ninety-nine, so I can appreciate right now.
