What if the clocks stopped?
One by one,
Would the stars begin to drop?
What if time were to end?
Fact by fact,
Would the rules begin to bend?
If the world began to die,
Truth by truth,
Would it no longer lie?

What if all you ever thought to know,
What if all you thought to do,
What if all your loves and fears,
Began,
To disappear?

What if the sun fell away?
Night by night,
Would the moonlight stay?
What if, suddenly,
Life made sense?
Would we all,
Tear down our fence?
