My Angel

An angel came to me

With one touch he healed me

With one kiss he restored me

I was lost but one word

Uttered from his lips

Guided me to salvation

One Look from his soft eyes

Made me feel like a goddess

But when he had helped me

One step away from me

Gave me confidence

But when he stayed with me

I learned trust and faithfulness

Then when he became mortal for me

I learned love and devotion

And when we had our first child

I learned happiness and peace

But when they left

I felt loneliness and pain

But than my angel came to me

And I felt whole again

That angel was you
