What is succes?
A young child hitting a homerun at reccess?
Receiving an A on a report card?
Or having a huge house with a big yard?
It's when your last act of the day before dreaming of tomorrow is a smile.
When each day is worthwhile.
When a laugh justifies the essence of your day.
You go to bed and dream the night away.
In the sun's first stretch of light those dreams become reality.
Your family greets you with a smile of hospitality.
Spending more time with your grandchildren once you retire.
Being the one they most admire.
And at your last breath,
a smile crosses your face and you don't fear death.
You look left and right to see the ones you love.
A last rose and kiss on the cheek from you life long sweet heart and suddenly your watching them from above.
Success is the happiness in your heart,
from your first breaths of air to your final depart.
