The Bend and the Break

It always seems things bend and don't break.

But it only lasts so long.

And I've finally seen what happens in the end.

When the bend has finally met the break.


And the final result and what it takes.

What it takes, the little pieces, and what it leaves behind.

The pressure points, and those little stakes.

They're the little ones slowly tapped into your heart.


And maybe you think they'll have no effect,

but that's what you think only from the start.
