Child's Play

written by: Script Runner

This is my Lamentation,
My fiscal Fascination.
This is silent suicide,
Fantastic realization;
Of pain borne inside,
Upon shoulders of grief.

This time bears the mark of Death.
Jagged coral rings the reef,
Teady with eager embrace
To bring about my release.
Seperation seals with blackened breath
The simple joy of younger days;
The familiar ways, of child's play.

I reach with broken hands,
Grasping fallen grains of sand.
Aching and empty
I lay myself to bed
Fearful and shaking;
Tell me, what lies ahead?
Please, will you answer
These crystal questions?
Oh, ease my mind,
Just let me hear,
Thy serenade fine.
