I can see the stars in your eyes
Like meteors strewn across the sky

Like a thousand fireflies lighting up the night
Like a blazing fire burning bright

Sometimes I feel like this isn't quite right
Why doesn't an angel like you just take flight?

I don't know how, and I don't know why
But you stay with me, make everything alright

I'll try to tell you what I see in you
You're my angel, my hero, my idol, my glue

Without you I don't know what I'd do
Without you I don't think I could make it through

A single day, girl you know it's true
I will love you, for as long as the sky is blue

You remind me of a water fall
Beauty eternal and most of all

You've always been there when I hit the wall
When I would fall down, you'd always answer my call

Your voice rings in my ears like the sound of a choir
An echo of angels that does inspire

And in your eyes I can see your burning fire
And I yearn to learn to burn with your desire
