My Fantasy

Escape away into my imagery
I am running away constantly
I don't deal well with reality
So here I am again, my fantasy

This imaginary world that I've created
Another fable in which I've participated
This magic world where I'm not so jaded
Where my vision isn't so faded

Trying to escape the things that haunt me
Trying to run away from the things that are taunting me
Trying to avoid the things I fear
Trying to evade the words that I don't wanna hear

All I want is a place to call my own
I don't wanna be left here all alone
All I need is somebody to care
Somebody to tell me that they'll always be there

I don't wanna keep running away
I'm so sick and tired of this game I play
I can't stand it when the sky is grey
Can't you help me end this torment today
