Little Jamie (a break from reality)

written by: UsKidsKnow

Little Jamie was full of hate
His heart heavy and a dirty sleight
and he
He had nothing to live for

He smoked all night and he drank all day
His trailor trash parents had nothing to say
and he
he was only sixteen

And everybody knew
that he was who you went to
if you
really needed a break from reality

Little Jamie brought a gun one day
Pointed it at heads and said he just wanted to play
and he
he had been pushed over the edge

The cops came in and took him down
they took him to the station in town
and he
he never said a word

They told him that he'd have to go away
and thats where he lives to this day
and he
he never knew any better

And everybody knew
that he was the guy you went to
if you
really needed a break from reality
