The Sacrifice

I thought I can be one in two
But now I know that can never be true
Because it keeps me from
Being the man I'm meant to become

I hear their lost call
And I want to help them all
I can't with my heart disconnected
But seeing her was so unexpected

Now I don't know what to think
My future with her seems to shrink
I want to be the hero of the story
But she's more important than this glory
