Will they ever smile at me
Can i escape this sorrow
Does anyone hear me scream
Not far for me too fall
Talking to shadows on the wall
I don't know who I am
I'm not sure what i am
But i cry just like you
Equality i never knew
Always brought to the floor
It hurts hurts hurts but I get more
Everyday i get my beating
Everyday i keep on pleading to...
Make it go away
A black eye and bloody lip
Every step up i find another trip
Waiting right there for me
Just another gift for my agony
Got no kisses and hugs
Got no friends or loves
But why Why
Because i cry
Just like you
