Fly

Wish i could sail the skies
Grow wings and fly
And I'll take off from the world
Because there's nothing here for me
Soar with the birds, sleep on a cloud
Skim over the waters of the sea
But dreams never last long
Before it's done
I'm shot down
Then i fall forever 'til I hit ground
As i die i marvel at the sky
Because i saw heaven before death
I don't remember the rest
That thought defeats all the sadness i knew
Until i was shot down
