Wake Up To See Yesterday

I am person that will fight for what I believe
And no matter what I will always try to convince
Others that we can stop the ways of the old
We can be the ones to break through and become the mold

People say why on earth do you care
Because there has to be one willing to bear
The weight of an outcast for being divergent
Because the way things are such sacrifice is urgent

Now for some reason people praise me for such speech
If only there wasn't a black sin behind the way I teach
I wish I could go up unannounced and save the day
But I cannot because that is not my way
