Start Of Something new

There are some things you do too much
Like using certain things you are good at as a crutch
Because you may lose your sight
Of what could make you feel more than alright

You have to challenge yourself everyday
Or you will lose what you were good at
That's why I never like to settle down and stay
At one thing that could make me fall flat

So I can make people like me
I think that all of you could agree
That you all have been right here
And now you want to be revered

For trashing the status quo
And finding a brand new show
So when you read this simple rhyme
I want to think about all of this next time

When you wonder about who you are
Just know that you can shine like a star
All you need is to have a little soul
To make your life whole
