Man goes to church every Sunday
That's what he knows to be the only way
To be Christian and show his undying devolution
But when he goes to church he just goes through the motions
He ask God why does it matter
That his faith has to be on a silver platter
He knows he loves God with all his heart
And he can't help but think the church isn't so smart
When it comes to who will go up and down
Man knows how to recognizes that thorny crown
He doesn't need to know every time he sins
Because how would he ever get out a win
When all he's trying to do is to break even
Man knows the church is good to believe in
But not when they want to be adore
Their job is to get us the golden shore
Man knows what this sounds like
But he will always defend the church
No matter how high they sit on the perch
Because God would always save us not in spite
But in love and hope we could be better
As you would read in St. Paul's letters
That he has plans for all of us
So second chances are indeed a must
For us who are imperfect in so many ways
But not to God who loves over lays
All the bad we have done
In the name of just having fun
So man still maybe a little confused
But hopefully this poem wasn't to amused
Those who need to lower the cost of prayer
Because they think they're alone in despair
But if they look up above
They would see Gods love
Coming down to save us all
No matter if we have no faith at all
