Sudden

written by: OurSacredHonor

Sudden shock
My world's been rocked
And I stop breathing
Sudden flash
Feeling the crash
Of all hope leaving
Sudden gasp
And I can't grasp
The air around me
Sudden drop
And I can't stop
Despair has found me

I need to brake
I need to take
Control
I need to shake
I need to wake
My soul
As I reel
I can feel
Empty
I can't deal
I conceal
What's in me
Gotta
Take it back
Make it back
And relax
Learn the fact
Retrace my tracks
And be that
I've been there
I used to care
But no more
Life's not fair
I'm aware
But what for?
Dream of death
Catch my breath
In mourning
Lacking depth
Missed a step
No warning
Bleed me out
Scream and shout
Am I dying?
Full of doubt
I'm left out
And I'm crying
I won't fall
I'll do it all
On my own
Against the wall
I'll show you all
I have grown
I'm better now
I don't know how
I'll show you
A solemn vow
I won't allow
Me not to pull through
Watch me dissolve
As I revolve
Around the answer
I will resolve
And then evolve
Genes spread like cancer
Infecting you
Dissecting you
Like a surgeon
Misconstrued
Rejected too
This life's a burden
Heavy to hold
And awfully cold
On the fingers
I try to be bold
But I withhold
This pain that lingers
Shaking my trust
It's all too much
No key for this lock
Seams gonna bust
Numb to the touch
Here comes the aftershock

You're marked for execution
This neo-revolution
A new wave of words that you haven't heard to erase verbal pollution
Break down
Shake down
The earthquake will take you down
Friction and fissures
Cuts the earth like scissors
Pain ripples down my spine, a deadly shiver
Natural demolition
Making incisions
Opening the wound with such instinctive precision
Do you think you can take it?
Think you can make it?
Because if you can't there's no way in this world you can fake it
These words are realer than life
These words are more painful than strife
Marked with blood and coming for you just like a butcher's knife
