Autumn breeze
Rustles the leaves
On colored trees
As change brings me to my knees
Autumn slumber
Time slips as I plunder
I sit back and wonder
In darkness as I'm sliding under
Autumn dreams immersed in between
The suns shimmering beams
And I'm lost within what it all means
Autumn rain
Eases the pain
For no summer remains
We know not what the future contains
Autumn falls
Winter calls
Change is coming round
Lose it all
As I fall
Like those leaves right to the ground
Lightning flash
Thunder crash
That tree shoots into splinters
Fiery light
Burning bright
Like the white snow floor of winter
A blinding glare
Chills the air
Sends shivers down my spine
I'll be ok
Just not today
For winter, she is mine
She'll hold me tight
Through the long, lonely night
Protecting me from my fears
It'll be all right
With the stars shining bright
For they'll be here for all of my years
Autumn falls
Winter calls
Change is coming round
Lose it all
As I fall
Like those leaves right to the ground
