Dying to live

written by: twonite

Can you swallow this lump of sorrow?
What am I going to do with you gone?
I've heard it's darkest before the dawn
But I see no sun, only rain coming
So I head for the horizon, running
I can't watch you lowered into the ground
You just disappear without a sound
Is this really life?
Or do I live in death?
Is that air I breathe when I take a breath?
Aren't we all really dying, not living?
Now that you're gone I hope you have a good life
Because I am living in death
I'm living in strife
You and I were dying happily together
I guess you just have to remember
That you can't die forever
