Fools

written by: OurSacredHonor

It's been a long time since I've had thoughts like these
All my worries drift away on a calm summer breeze
Things have been tough and complicated
But there hasn't been a single thing that I've hated
It's all been in fun even if it wasn't a game
And no matter what happens I will show no shame
I've given my all and will continue to
Everyday I can't help but think about me and you
I'm walking a thin line
That I can't define
And confusion
Disillusions
As I loose my mind
I can't win
So I just grin
And try to find
The answers in my mind
But you're the only one who can set this straight
You're the only one who can decide my fate
I can't relate
So I debate
Will not hate
So I create
We will choose
And if we lose
Then we are fools
Who took the bate
It's not a game
But whose to blame
For all of us
Taking it so serious
And as we rust
And collect dust
Listen to the voices call your name
The voices in your head
You thought that they were dead
But they return every time you lay alone in bed
I want you to tell me everything those voices said
I want to know what you think and what you feel
I need to know exactly what is real
