Same

written by: OurSacredHonor

Well ain't it all the same
When you treat it like a game
Live life without shame
But it don't take away the pain

Same shit, different day
Why won't this ever go away?
I have nothing new to say
Because it always ends up the same exact way

Play your game, learn your role
Eventually time will take its toll
Take your chance, the dice you roll
But the odds are it won't make you whole

Rewind, playback
Too late, payback
Rewind, playback
Didn't I just say that?

Allow me to reiterate
There's just too much on my plate
To deal with people actin fake
There's just too damn much at stake

I've had it with this drama
I just wanna
Give it all up
Put it in a cup
Of bleach
And drink it away until I reach
Another place
Where I can face
Myself in the morning
End it all without warning
Bottle all my fears up inside
Swallow em all up like my pride
And a bottle of pills
Until I blow up
Then trouble starts to show up
I don't wanna grow up, can't I stay like this?
There's just too many things that I'm gonna miss
Like the sweet kiss of morning on a summers day
Winter's come and taken that all away
Replaced it with a chill that rattles my bones
And I'm left here again all alone...
