How wonderful it would be

I never knew how wonderful it would be, to
see you learn and grow.
To watch your sparkling eyes , and your smile
oh how it glows.
You brought the sun to my
days,
with your kind and loving
ways.
I never knew how wonderful it would
be,
to love the little girl I
see.
