Missing Something

written by: OurSacredHonor

I'm missing something
And that something I'm missing is you

I don't' know how I do it without you
But I know I don't do it well
I can't quite get things right without you
And everyone can tell
Without you, my crutch, I stumble
I lack stability
Without you, my dear, I'm empty
There's nothing inside of me

I'm missing something
You're not in my arms
I'm missing something
I can't see you
I'm missing something
And I realize now
That something I'm missing is you

I don't know if I can make it through
These times out here alone
So far away from proven love
So far away from home
I've learned to not be perfect
I've learned to make mistakes
I'm willing to see this through
No matter how long it takes

I'm missing something
You're not in my arms
I'm missing something
I can't see you
I'm missing something
And I realize now
That something I'm missing is you

Feel the cold air surround me
I can feel you, but you're not around me
I imagine you, sleeping so soundly
Maybe if I dream long enough
When I open my eyes....
You'll have found me

I'm missing something
You're not in my arms
I'm missing something
I can't see you
I'm missing something
And I realize now
That something I'm missing is you
