Light Wood Window Sill- From Butterfly Madness a collection of Poems

written by: Deena6a

Light Wood Window Sill

Captured on a light wood window sill
The faint cry far away
Whisper sweet yester-year
Coming a long way
Fight the pain of tomorrow
linger in the moon
Wisp away the sudden lump
Forming it's doom
dance among the chips of wood
cripple all the weeds
Sing with the sparrow's head
fly away in fun
on top of a butterfly wing
across the sun's beam
Over a hill
along a tree
back down on the ground
you are free
Slither like a worm
Underneath the tile
and you are back home once again
on the light wood window sill
