The Boy in the Crab-apple Tree

written by: Deena6a

Way up high
Little guy
I hear you whispering
Deep in the leaves
Of our crab-apple tree
I know you are watching

To say goodbye
Is not why
We plant the tree of blossoms
To say hello
For the boy we know
And to remember your sweet essences

Spring will bring
The sweet smell of life
And fall the bitter apple
But life is what our tree will show
And remain for a long while after

So not goodbye
My sweet little guy
But hello to every swelling blossom
I can hear you there
High in the sky of branches
Living and loving in every crab-apple blossoms
