Listen

written by: TheDoctor

Two sides to every story.
That's what they always say.
But when only one side is listened to
The rest just flows away.

Two parts to every fight
That how it seems to be.
But when only one part is winning
The other falls in defeat.

When no-one seems to listen
And all they do is yell.
You slowly brake and crumble
And to the floor you fell.

They leave you there to cripple
And laugh at you and your wounds.
They point and kick, and throw some sticks
To add another bruise.

They don't care much about what you say.
Their story is always right.
But when it's not, and it usually isn't.
They're ready to start a fight.

I want to catch my side of the story
But it blows away in the wind.
I jump and run and try to catch
But as usual, I never win.

Nobody seems to listen.
