Unhappily Ever After

I've got nowhere to run
No where to hide
Everything you say
Makes me feel hallow inside
I'm feeling smothered
As everyone surrounds me
I can't make peace with anyone
All you do is hound me
I'm never good enough for you
And probably never will be
If this is the way you feel
Then why don't you just kill me?
I can't get a break from anything
Every second I'm alive I'm dead
Everything is wound up to tightly
Up inside my head
I can't think straight
I can do no right
I can't make anyone happy
I can't sleep through the night
I'm a lost cause
Don't waste your time on me
If you stick around
I'll just prove it, wait and see
Jealous and rage
Is all you speak anymore
With every spiteful word you speak
Another blood drop hits the floor
Every word you speak
Every hateful sputter
Every echoing cuts me
A hot knife through butter
Twist my insides
Round and round
Eventually we'll both
Come crashing down
In a blaze of glory
The way that it should be
Together forever
But never happily
