I see you when I feel the shadow of a train
I see you when it decides to rain
I see you in a young childs smile
I see you in an old womans laugh

I hear you when John Lennon sings "I want to hold your hand"
I hear you when my feet touch the cool cold sand
I hear you everytime I open my notebook
I hear you everytime I write a new song

I smell you while I'm eating fruit
I smell you when I try on a new suit
I smell you everytime I go to church
I smell you everytime I open a hymnel

I feel you when I look in the mirror
I feel you when I realize that you're not here
I feel you when my life seems to have nothing
I feel you everytime I take a breath
