Boundaries and Limits

You wake up in the morning and you can't get going
All these lies trapped inside that you can't start showing
All this time you derive answers while not knowing
That tides start to rise and thoughts start overflowing

One thought into the next
Thought you knew what you were
Doing nothing
Write the words
Down In the gutter of your
Mouth the words out
Loud enough to hear the
Scream the answers
Over the top of the
Wall of
Sound off the
Alarming thoughts in my
Mind my manners not
Rude awakening
From slumber, restless
Night so dark and
Cold feet on a cold
Floor me as I
Drop the dice and
Play nice with no
One thing to bring my mind to
Ease the pain in it
This is pushing me to the limit

The sun burns bright
I close my eyelids to dim it
And with my eyes shut tight
I look for my boundaries and limits

Run on
Sentences to
Death of a
Heart breaking
Tail end of a
Story
Time

Divine
Lines of rhyme
Capital
Crime ridden
Society Takes it
All comes crashing
Down in the
Trench warfare like a world
War controls our
Life is worth
Living examples of
Failure to
Realize our
Dreams
Shattered
Windows
Open at the
Seams that
I can't
Repair my mind
Or replace what was in it
This is pushing me to the limit

The sun burns bright
I close my eyelids to dim it
And with my eyes shut tight
I look for my boundaries and limits
