I see it,
Flashes in the night and shadows in glare
They leave quicker then they appear.
Like a warm taste of death and fear these shadows keep coming near
I don't know if I believe in a realm of life that is far from here
Or if these shadows are a mere sign of my unconscious blur
I feel a shiver as these shadows stir around my world without cheer
Then remember him so clear,
His warmth and summer cheer,
My brother, my cousin, my light on this earth
His sudden departed as he checked out of life
When the current of death sweeps in and takes
Things away
So maybe those shadows are my fears and the flash are my tears
That comes to me, when the cold shivers of gold come by to remind me that you're no more here

i love how you make death seem a wave in your remembrance of your loss
