We are all children

written by: Solum13

There's children living in the street
Eating pie's from dirt, running around with bare feet
And their parents are children themselves
Scared of the dark, and that thing under the bed

If parents don't grow up
Or hold their mistakes up
Then how does anyone expect for the children to learn
Their minds will just rot away to dust

Children, can't you try to understand
We're lending you a helping hand
Don't obey your parents
If your parents dont obey themselves

Children, us kids know
You all love playing in the snow
And that it sucks to grow up
But our bodys do, even if our minds dont

Parents, you know your words sting
Children, inside all of us is a wild thing
But when does one end, and the other begin
That's the thing we're all working on
Determined by the lives we've lived
and the images that spend most of their time in our heads
