Sad Old Woman

written by: gilligan3

You think i don't know
That i'll never figure it out
you think that it's all planned and set in stone
But the rulles really are that nobody really knows

you got it right and everything's cool
But somethings amiss and you can tell
How can i be fine if i don't do it your way
And if i succeed it'll be too much

You're driving me mad with your locked mind
Thinkin that nothing ever changes
And everything stays the same
What if your wrong

Then all you've ever known will be all gone
And quite possiblly i might have to teach you the way
To be free from yourself and all your dreams
Maybe you'll see something you've never seen

But right now your the queen with your logic in this reality
And i'm just a pauper left alone with his dreams
You don't see all you could possibly be
All you know is your throne of boring practicality

Come on it could be better it could beautiful
Try a little bit of dancing and sing your favorite song
When you do you'll see something you've been missin
Something new perhaps never to be seen
