Hey i dont want your love
Hey i dont care if im the one you want
But i wouldn't mind if you wanna sit here next to me
And talk about how you feel and what you need

Your clearly not into me
And it's not like your my goddess
But let's have a go at friends
We'll see how it all ends

I dont want your heart in my hands
Cuz im a bit clumsy see and it might fall
I dont want to be your sunlight
Cuz my friend i ain't that bright

Some of them will go home together tonight
And we will too
But not for the same reasons they all do
Ours will be a quiet knowing kind of love

My friend, can we stay just that and be happy
With what we are and probably always will be
When they ask us why we'll say that's just the way it is
You'll turn to me and smile and i'll understand
As we sit together holding hands
