Common family

written by: drunkenidiot

Everything is so rushed.
The way a judge looks at his convicted daughter, hushed
The words we mustn't say, said
Like a vile serpeant, her thoughts turned to dread
That petite creatured left out to burn
Her mothers finished, daddy's turnThis is a family too common, an intricate business with the sole purpose of obedience
But it's alright you see, the government gave me a license

As much a hope, I'd like to say
A perfect example of our peoples blasé
To help ourselves, build our forts
Nevermind the cheap imports
A humble man with no where to stay
Go to the temple in which to pray
Oh wait there is no god
Noone to help you, poor beggar, dead sod.

It is alright though I have my wealth
Anti hysteria, the govenments stealth
A world doomed to fail, in it's time of need
You mighty people, please take heed
Goodbye my love, goodbye my friend
For their souls they have sold, failed to send
A story of woe I have told
My brashnes forgiven...my soul yet to be sold
