Hidden Love

written by: gilligan3

I want some mystery
Some lost history
Something missing about to be found
Something that could be anything

I've never found you
And that's quite alright
But that may go away in one small moment tonight
And then we'll be completely through

It's been fun
It's been a blast
But now it's all done
And It's all buried deep in the past

Our love is perfect
Never too much
Never not enough
But our faces each the other has never seen

Ours is a teasing fling
That's spark has yet to blink away
It's a fleeting thing lost on the ones with "soul"
Beause we've never touched skin close with fear

Someday, however soon ,we will
And passionate tho that encounter may be
Parted by it we could be forever
If normal to either we seem

So let's enjoy this silent endless charade
And squeeze out every drizzly sip
Of love's bittersweet, swirling red and white wine
Then when it's all through
The mysery's dream forever will fade
