What Was Forgotten

written by: Majestic

The wind dances
to the silent fiddlers tune.
A myth
A legand
On its wings.
Of a time of peace and prosperity;
A time of joy and laughter.
Where tales were spoken
and songs of words were sung.
A forgotten time;
now laying in the dust;
abandoned in the tattered pages of mankind.
Yet the ancient trees still whisper it
and the wind carries its tale,
remembering what was forgotten.
But silent it will not be,
when the sun shines so bright
and fields are green.
The earth cries out and will share its trodden ground
opening to the questions of the mind.
Rain will bring the long ago time
and wind will weave through it,
dancing to the fiddlers song
and remembering the forgotten tale.
