Slipping Away

Uh oh, I'm slippin again
Just like then
Don't know when
Or how this is happening
To me
I can't see
I try to breathe slowly
But anxiety
Overcomes
As I succumb
To the pressure
I feel less sure
Of myself
And no one else
Can tell me what's right
How to fight through the night
Correct my mistakes
And remake
The prefect world that I shattered
When all the right things mattered
I got confused
And didn't choose
Indecision made me lose
I'm a fool with a lit fuse
About to blow up
And go up
In flames
This untamed pain
Puts me to shame
In this game
I can't win
Don't know where to begin
I'm stuck in a replay
Today is yesterday
Dej? vu
It's a redo
Can I do it right this time?
Will I write this line right this time?
Will I be in time to be next in line?
Or will I find my time
Has come and gone with the wind
As fate rescinds
It's offer and takes my chance away
As I try to glance away
Cuz I can't face today
When it seems once again everything is slipping away
