How blatantly obvious
Yet frighteningly unclear
How the unexpected things
Can whisper doubt into my ear
How wonderfully entranced
Yet stupefied in fear
How ignorant to all the words
The words we cannot hear

Cuz we are deaf and dumb and blind
We are trapped within our minds
We our bounded by our souls
Which someone else controls
We are tampered with and tattered
We are broken, black and blue
We are all the nothings that we are
And it's all because of you

How particularly peculiar
How familiarly insane
How everything all at once
Seems to wrack upon my brain
How articulately silent
How absolutely deranged
How incessantly violent
Causing constant pain

Cuz we are deaf and dumb and blind
We are trapped within our minds
We our bounded by our souls
Which someone else controls
We are tampered with and tattered
We are broken, black and blue
We are all the nothings that we are
And it's all because of you

Here we go again, repeat
The footsteps of the feet
Pounding stiffly on concrete
As we march on down the street
To our destinations, always unknown
Recitations of examples of how we have grown
They never are revealed, never are they shown
You words just like a blade cut to my bone
