Beside the river sits a girl with hair as red as the sun
She looks to the sky and asks the question "Why am I the one?"
Her life being carried away with the current, it flashes before her eyes
She sits there with her thoughts and begins to cry
She wonders, What am I to do, How do I make it through?
From somewhere behind her she hears a voice say "The answer is inside of you"
She looks but to her surprise there is no one there she sees
She sits alone beside the river, only with the trees
Once again the voice chimes in, "I'm with you, you know"
She looks again to see the trees shining with a fiery glow
"I'll walk with you the whole way through and be by your side
You can always count on me to be your friendly guide
When your scared call on me and I'll comfort your fears
When your sad call on me and I'll wipe away your tears"
If I can't see you how do I know who to call? She asked feeling odd
Just look in your heart and you'll see me there, by the way you can call me GOD!
