Two Years Gone By

written by: UsKidsKnow

Your absence makes my fingers twitch
As if you were a drug
You knew that I loved you
But I was the boy you swept under the rug

And it's two years gone by
You took, and you shook, and you broke me down

That cold night in March
Was the last time we fought
You have given me nothing
Now it's all I've got

And it's two years gone by
You took, and you shook, and you broke me down

There are no more words to say
No arguments for a case
It's two years gone by
and I still see your face

Two Years gone by
and I still smell your hair
Two years gone by
and I still hear your voice
Two years gone by
and I still miss you
Two years gone by
Since you took, and you shook, and you broke me down
