Amends

written by: missmandie

I have so little time to feel,
Another wound that's yet to heal.
As moths circle around the light.
Another spider waits to bite.

Hearts are waiting for a beat,
While fire's dancing at my feet.
Drowning in the name of grace,
I'm waiting for this dark embrace.

You have no soul to call your own,
Again you go to sleep alone.
Screw the things I thought were true,
No one is as fake as you.

Watching words blow through like smoke,
I sometimes wish you would just choke.
You say one thing and then deny,
Your heart is acting way to sly.

A face of evil wrapped in good,
You never act just like you should.
Lying in the face of friends,
There is no time to make amends.
