So here you are,
Is this where you'd have thought you'd be
Sixteen and with a new baby
A child supporting ex-boyfriend
And I can't ask "How's it been?"

So tell me is this how you'd thought it'd go
Your life is harder before you even know it
Your life is a sinking pit
You can't find time to sit
As the world weighs you down

So here you are
Your baby begins to shout
Your parents want you out
Your grades aren't doing so well
Welcome to your own personal hell

Your baby begins to weep
You have to put your life on hold
Parenting as you were told
