"Cry me a river,
Build me a bridge,
And
Get
Over
It!"
She would tell us that
Whenever we whined
About a test or a quiz
"B
M
W!"
She would say
When we complained
About the Three's having no lessons
Now I know,
That it's time to take those
To heart
And use them
Otherwise
I'll never move on
I know that if I stop singing
A
Ae
Ae
Am
A
I'll forget
I know if I stop hula dancing
Tu
Tui
Tibi
Te
Te
She'll fade away
And that would be worse
Than committing Hubris
Like Tantalus
Or Niobe
They were both related
And in our homework
That we never got to check
That I actually finished
For once
I never got to take
My test
Or my quiz
Which I had actually studied for
But, this is the real quiz
The real test
To see if I can remember
That worry beads must match your clothes
That you must always smile
And you have to cry a river
Before you build the bridge
But you always have to
Get Over It.
