Ice

written by: UsKidsKnow

You told me you had to go
as the sun melted all the snow
and that night it froze to ice
The kids came out to play
But it was too cold that day
The ice covered all the streets

And the ice covered over my heart
You played me right from the start
The ice covered all the town
Like some sort of hateful crown
Everybodys slippin-

The ice killed the powerlines
Froze over the street signs
So no one knew where to go
Everyone stayed inside
Everyone went to hide
Not wanting to risk the ice

And the ice covered over my heart
You played me right from the start
The ice covered all the town
Like some sort of hateful crown
Everybodys slippin-

Everybody's slippin up
