Fahrenheit

written by: OurSacredHonor

Bad weather
White lights
Staring down
Headlights
Dancing under
Streetlights
Time to head for
New heights

Black leather
Laced tight
Thigh high
Just right
Reflection in
The moonlight
Sudden increase
Fahrenheit

Thermometer
Bulbs burst
Who's gonna
Go first
Subtleties
Interspersed
Wait until the next verse

Choose whether
We're right
Start the fire
Tonight
Don't turn back
Just fight
Push on through to
New heights

I'll say never
Stoplight
Breakdown
Hold on tight
Slip and slide
Lose sight
Rising still
Fahrenheit

Say when
But don't mean it
Life's real
But doesn't seem it
I'll never
Believe it
I'm yours
If you dream it

"Now, forever,
And always", right?
Or maybe you'll say
"Just tonight"
Either way
It feels just right
Soaring upwards
New heights

I'll endeavor
In spite
Futile feelings
Spin light
Step on into
Spot light
Rise again
Fahrenheit
